Need to pick a new filter. Want your reviews of my choices

I think for the money the aqueon is a great buy. Btw its 23.99 at dr fosters. It dows look a lil bulky tho. Maybe its worth a shot as a back up. Everyone says it has no room or other media options but from what I see it has potential. I have a scrubbers in my emperors. You can't beat 400gph for that price. Everyone thought aquaclears where cheap once.

I have 2 aquiaclear 110s running. Quiet, work very well. Also they dont have a stupid bio wheel.. gosh i hate biowwheels lol... also they are a bit cheaper then emperors.
 
Where do you find Emporer 400's that cheap? I got mine from Foster and Smith on sale for 44.00. I like emporers, I use 2 of them on a 75 gallon tank. My jag hybrid continually takes off the filter tubes, so I gave up and let them stay off. They get moved around as toys. So far, they are the best filters I have used, and I have used everything from Whispers to Magnum Hots.
 
Those are good don't get a fulvil they are terrible I have two 100 gallon filters on a 110 gal tank waters green. The lights are barely on and i do constant filter media changes and water changes they suck. Just more german crap made in some third world crap hole.

Well I think I'm gonna take a chance on an aqueon 55/75 just cuz I can get one for $25 and use it purely as a backup

You'll like it at first. After spending a bunch of money on cartridges, you just may change your mind :)
