In all seriousness, you could ask 100 people this and get 200 different answers lol. And what works at one place, or one day, might not work other places. I like spinnerbaits, zara spooks, and senkos. Rapala dt crankbaits can work very well too.

Alright then I'll just try a couple different things and see what works :)

I used to use Manns but that lure gets me so dang mad, I never seems to swim correct, I have to finagle the the bill at times and even shave it, the hooks almost always end up around the bill, etc. I have since retired the manns and now use Live Target. I got several at Dicks, they are $7.00 each, I went to Bass Pro, they had them started at $17 and higher, not sure why.

They even have them at depths of 0-1 feet, I think it is. The Manns was 0-3 feet, so you can take this lure places the manns can go without slowing down. Perfect for shallow smallie fishing in creeks.
