I used to use a bucket for WC's, but that's just too much... So I went a bought 25 feet of hose so that I can syphon the water out and water the plants outside at the same time....

To get the water to start running (this is gonna sound so bad, so keep your sillyness to a min) I suck the end of it... and it takes quite a bit of effort, so to get it really going, I blow it and there comes the water gushing... I've tried to miss the rushing water but many times it has filled my mouth...it happens!! hahhaha!! Alright guys, let us all know what situations cause this to happen to you..."

Dang it! I missed some good stuff today!! and that ^^ is still funny as hell!!

and to somewhat stay on track here, I started the hobby on my own!! ;D
 
I'm driving over an hour to Springfield tomorrow so my wife can get her discus. Women...;)

I got into it on my own. Part of how I knew my husband was the man for me was based on the size of his fish tank!
When we started dating, I found out he was into fish. I'm pretty sure it was love at that point. Now we feed each others addiction.
 
Got into it on my own and now my boyfriend is slowly getting attached to them. He loves plecostomus the best. I told him when we get a house I'm setting up a pleco tank just for him. :)

What were the first fish all of you ladies started with? Curious to see how many times guppies and goldfish comes up

I started with swordtails & expanded to fancy guppies.
