the vast majority Of the Rappers that have been listed write their own Lyrics, Within Hip Hop circles the major criteria for Someone to be considered Goat is to be authentic... To write Your own lyrics. And you addressed me first, I didn't say a word to You. And as far as panties being in a bunch and the cusswords that You are using. It's a sign of weakness. I already said no need to apologize! But also there is no need to try to sneak diss Me either. If You aint never heard of the D.O.C. I reccomend You check him out on Youtube. He's been Dre's sidekick from the early days. That will give You some insight into Why People associated with Dre are so prolific. In the studio He's served as a Mentor and competitor to everyone from Snoop to Em. And in the infamous words of Prodigy from Mobb Deep: "I've done said all I have to say, You can carry on"

*high five* glad to see some love for doom on here, a bit surprised at that.

and to the sausage pizza, I do enjoy dr. octagon (post-insanity kool keith) quite a lot, particularly Earth People and Blue Flowers. I'm not sure I would say that he is a really high-caliber rapper, though.

As for the classic rap albums, it's gotta be

3. The Chronic

I am sure that Tupac deserves a high regard, but I don't really feel him anymore.

For your list, Em all the way. His older stuff was much better. I have been listening alot to (rap metal) Hollywood Undead.

Regarding Tupac and Biggie, they can not and should never be considered greatest IMO. They got their fame because they died while "living the life". Both sold more dead than alive by a long shot, and neither really had skill. Tupac was definitely better than Biggie but neither where "epic". Good? Yes, Ill listen to them from time to time. Greatest ever? Not by a long shot.

Must be alot of old school guys on here... I think biggie was the best ever... Hate pac after he stopped the gangster music... Eminem is cool but alot of his songs I can't relate too... And no one even mentions lil wayne? I mean appearances no not at all but his mix tapes and features are amazing... I think luda is underrated everything he makes is a hit

I was never much of a rap fan but was always a fan of the original members of death row records
