They determined goodell did not have the authority to suspend them for receiving or creating a pool and that he should not have been the one to hear the appeal, not that there was no evidence

Lmao! I thought they did fine. The clipping call was phantom but the rest were fine. They missed some and called some, no different them a regular ref.

We weren't dead last last year.
Im finally starting to feel ok about football again, so time to say something.
The giants loss was bad, but not horrible. Our team needs more depth on the defensive side. Playing 2 dts the entire game won't cut it. Marvin Austin has to come back or we need to sign another dt ASAP. Umenyiora and Webster played awful. Worse game I've seen from them in a while. It was especially bad that Webster played bad because we had no one else. Coe and hosely were ok, but Tyron was awful. Room went 7-7 against him in just a quarter, including the game sealing pass which featured him playing horribly in coverage. Wonder why jpp didn't have any sacks? It's because he was held almost every single play. Tyron smith is looking a lot like flozell Adams (and not in a good way).
Offensively our passing game looked ok, but needs some work. Nicks was hurt and it was painfully obvious. This combined with victor Cruz's drops killed us. On the plus side, hixon looked great (always fun to root for a guy who's gone through so much). Our line is terrible. I never liked the baas signing, and it just continues to look worse. Snee and boothe are our only two solid linemen. Our running game doesn't struggle because of the rb's, it's the lineman.

i was slightly off but not by much. no reason for anyone to act like they had a top ranked defense and it's letting them down. they NEVER were good until the playoffs (starting with their win streak to clinch the division). people have a tendecy to focus on what their eyes last saw (the playoffs) instead of the actual average over an extended time period. Giants they may be....but midgets they were defensively for 2011
