I Rescued A Firemouth!! (Pictures)

So, i was in petco getting supplies for my Bearded Dragons and decided to take a look in the fish section. They had a shelf with around 6 SA/CA cichlid tanks... In one tank there was dirty green water and there were 12 Oscars 5 Red Devils and around 6 Jack Dempseys... They were all at least 4-6 inches... I was DISGUSTED by these conditions ( this was around a ten gallon tank) Just then, this little guy swam out pretty torn up... He was a baby firemouth... I immediately got the Rude lady working there to bag him up for me. He was 3 bucks. Now, in all Honesty i have NEVER bought a fish at petco before. This is a first... Ill keep you guys updated.

Nice pickup and good on ya for saving him. I have been looking for some but none of the LFS around me have them.
 
Also, if anyone knows the growth rate (how fast they grow) that would be helpful:) I know they get like 6-8 inches but everyone i talk to says something different on how FAST they grow... I need to know when to upgrade from the current 20g qt...
