What's the most grusome death one of your fish has suffered?

I was cleaning out my undergravel filter, I took the power head off and my Tiretrack eel decided to hide under the plate. When i reinstalled the 1200 gph powerhead he got sucked into strainer and I had no idea till the next day.. He basically got turned into an accordion with pieces of him partially sucked thru the strainer. Water in my entire tank was red/brown from blood

This isn't really gruesome but it was certainly unfortunate. Just recently I was trying to catch some random African cichlid babies out of my 300 gallon filled with clown loaches of all sizes as well as some red hook silver dollars and other fish. The tank is 30 inches tall and is about 6 feet off the ground so I need a ladder to reach in the tank. Anyways, I took the lid off of part of the tank to try to net the babies and one of my biggest clown loaches of about 7 inches gets freaked out and jumped out of the tank, flew over my head and landed on the floor after falling 7 feet through the air. I'm pretty sure it died on impact but I put it back in the tank anyways but it just looked like it was having a seizure before it finally stopped moving. That was a rough day.

One time, I caused the death of a 14" spotted gar. It jumped out of the tank through the tiniest crevice of the tank lid over 20 times and landed on my bed/stomach when sleeping. I got so pissed which happens in the middle of the night, pissed me off so bad, I tossed it outside. In the morning, I felt extremely stupid and wanted to do the same to myself... Well after that I got 11 VATFs! LOL
