Goo I bet you could 90 down into that overflow box and have a tee on the other side with a capped end with a small hole. That should work... I would think.

My old tank had this setup and it worked great...very quiet. Basically an external durso.

It also has a round one..i will go take a picture of it...first time i have seen one like it.

I only cleaned the outside back of the tank and the outside bottom just so i could paint it.
She has some scratches on her but they should vanish when i put water in as none are really deep. Plus it has a lot of algae build up on the walls and it now being dried its showing off every imperfection it has..
