Used to be that was a good clean, now with the "Defensless player" rule you can't go helmet to helmet like that. I'm sure Tate will nab a $21,000 come Thursday.
 
Statistics show that around 87% of teams that go 0-2 to start fail to make the playoffs, so I feel pretty safe to say that maybe one or even none of the following teams will make the playoffs: Browns, Jaguars, Titans, Raiders, Chiefs, & Saints. Of those teams, I think that only the Saints have a decent chance of redemption.

Yeah, I want an explanation for a super bowl contender losing to a bottom 5 team!


Also, the lions defense played bad but the niners still only scored 27 points after only scoring 23 or so points last week against the worst defense in the history of the nfl. I'm curious to see what they could do against a decent defense

Alex Smith's play so far this year has been impressive, looking like I may have to change my opinion of him. SF is going to be tough to beat this year.
