Do you have a plan of what the final tank for him will be? I know you mentioned having him in a pool for a lil while but what's after that? Very excited to see what you have planned

5000 GALLON DIY MONSTER TANK Bro!! Like a BOSS :headbang2 Still in the design phase and it may end up BIGGER.. TBC...

Well it looks like your on your way lil buddy, You have a nice DIY plywood tank build going now right? I've started a 366 gallon tank build myself... They just keep getting BIGGER & BIGGER huh...lol

hahahaha...It's all part of the fun though and why I love fish keeping so much! ;)

Yeah I'm a teenager still so I can't really build anything too permanent so I'll have to wait for the huge diy's. I have lots planned for 10 years from now though. And i've subscribed to your build because I love how you incorporated the CAD's into it. I want to be an engineer when I'm older so it's cool to see a build next to a computer generated version of it.

These guys build large pools. I was looking at one of there 1/2 round "Groto" pools. Basically it's half a large pool with an acrylic panel going across the diameter. Self standing 4400 gallons 6 foot deep with an almost 10'X5' viewing panel for $18000 not sure about shipping....

Hahahahahaha..... You don't have to worry about pellet training them... They (at least mine eats anything and everything) But the first pellets I introduced him to was Massivor and other sinking pellets, once he learned they were food he'd slam them. Now he'll eat floating, sinking, swimming....lol You name it..If it fits in his mouth it's fair game ;)

very nice fish, only other guy i follow that has one is TLkmDN, he posts vids on youtube & updates regularly on MFK. for any new comers to the hobby, he had an article in TFK magazine. highly recommended reading: http://www.tfhmagazine.com/freshwat...ing-in-the-fishkeeping-hobby-full-article.htm

as a fish keeper you can relate to his experiences & no matter how long you've been in the hobby you can always learn something new.
