If you are looking for a unit that has combination of mechanical and Bio Yes i think it is !!! The ultima does not provide any real considerable mechanical and does require pre mechanical ....

Then the pothos would die from lack of n03....

A 20$ filter that cuts my n03 in half is as good as it gets for my budget and I! Not to mention it purifies air and looks rad + no electricity!

I think its very economical, however down the road as the technology gets cheaper and more efficient I may upgrade.

I mounted the tyre when I first moved in, just couldn't take it down, maybe if I'm ever married I will lol. My whole house is a man cave.... No joke. My living room:

It's actually a outlaw dirt tyre, I managed to drag it from the pits when I was about 10, their the cars with the funky wing on the top, they basically drift a dirt oval.

Thanks for the input, Im looking into "next level" filitration that I can use for an entire fish room.
