It has nothing to do with us being Americans. Personally I won't let my 12years old kid dating 24 years old.

I see what you're saying about cultures, I do. I don't judge others for being vegan, or others for eating dogs; even though I don't do either of those things. But relations between adults and minors, is WRONG.
