What Canister Filter Should I Use On My New 120 Gallon?

thought of that also but i am trying to stay away from hob filters, i dont like to see the gap between the tank and wall and where this tank will be it will be very noticeable... thanks for your idea
 
Your original thought of 2 CF500 uv's would be my choice. The FX5 is a space hog. I don't think fx5 is worth the extra money.

Space hog? Fx5 is very efficient for its size and very powerful! I run a fx5 on my 125 Piranha tank, never have to vac!

If you want bang for your buck. Go for 2 canisters instead of one. Aquatop should be your choice. But it is your choice. If I were to spend real money I would get the Eheim Ultra series maybe a G160.

The FX5 is not much bigger than the aquatop.

Strollo, check this out, I removed the dual outputs just for the hose, serious flow lol and Great agitation!
