Yeah i hear ya, i feel the same way, especially since on my planted tank i dont run a chiller and HK summers get quite hot...


yeah melbourne's weather gets quite hot too especially summer. Sometime it hits 40 degrees celcius.

Not sure about the US, but here in Hong Kong at the height of the CRS craze, i've seen a Single specimen sell for over USD $2000, now a days its rare to see many sold for over $200 unless they are pretty special...

But i do agree, it can get expensive and fast...

nice tank! any co2 running? i can't keep the algae from taking over without co2 even with less light... what kind of substrate are you using? it looks relly good.

btw, i've seen king kongs go for as little at $50 in the US... they were over $100 just a year prior. they keep getting cheaper. some of the newer taiwan bees are still over $100.

that's chrismas moss I'm using. I tied them on the driftwood with sewing strings
