I might be kick out of my house for this

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
just put up a 125 after tanking down my 120. now im going to get a 210 with a 125 gallon sump. I was told i can only have 2 tanks so they might be upset when i take down my 55 and put up a 210 with a giant sump in its place. this could get interesting but anything for my dovii :headbang2

Haha I was in the same boat. I had my 450 gallon with 100 gallon sump set up at my parents house in the garage and I was forced to shut it down due to the humidity molding the roof. I ended up selling both my 90g and 450g set up and moved away for work. Then recently I just bought a 600 gallon tank system with a 160 gallon sump and will be bringing it home sometime in spring. My dad ain't gonna be happy when he see's it but I'm not setting it up there as I don't live at home no more. I'm just storing it there for now hehe. Anyhow good luck with the upgrade. Just make sure it doesn't mold your parents house as running that much water volume inside a house can screw it up without proper ventilation. It might sound absurd but it can happen...

When i retured home after graduating college roughly 30 6"-24" fish came back with me lol....I filled a standard one bay garage with 3 300 rubbermaids and smaller tanks all around. bearly enough room to walk around. Jacked up my parents bill quite a bit and def. coaxed them into helping me find my first house after 8 months. You may get lucky, just keep bringing them in until your out of room haha. I had about 1500 gal before and now i enjoy 4-5,000gal in my own home :). parents will never understand, neither will our spouses...eventually you will have so many tanks no one notices or is surprised when additions come. thats my reasoning haha. I will say your lucky if your parents even let you have a tank. when i was in highshool all i had was a 30 gal....prob y i have 29 tanks and a 12ft. swimming pool in my basement now haha. Good luck and some advice surpass the 210 there heavy as all hell and not very "big" look for atleast a 300 used.
