lol breeding convicts

So right when my breeding convicts breed last week they sacared my monster goldfish, gar, royal knife, hoplo cat, and Id sharks to the other side of the tank. Litterally isolated them... I felt bad for my fish but the realized convicts are bad***.

In keeping with your question , that being aggressive AND fun to keep, cichlids are the only choice. Doviis are the kings of the cichlid world and need massive(500+gal) tanks. Umbies are distant second. For the "average" aquarist, Jags, Red Devils, Red Terrors, Flowerhorns, Midas, Texas are condidered high on aggression, but at the same time very personable, beautiful, and easy to care for. Just dont fill your tank with a bunch of 2in fishies, because they will all reach a foot or more before you know it, and if they get crowded, your beauties will soon be fighting to the death. I have 1 each of the following... Jag, Red Texas, Green Terror, Jack Dempsey, Salvini, Oscar, Gold Severum and Tinfoil barb in a 475gal along with 4 plecos. Everybody gets along, all are beautifully colored and very healthy... because they have ROOM TO LIVE!

I have been keeping fish for 23yrs and the most aggressive towards my other fish was the black shark, aimara and aba knife fish. The most aggressive towards me has been the RTG arowana as it has bitten me twice and my aba knife tried to bite me all the time but never succeeded. I also had a tangerine african cichlid that would bite me every time I cleaned the tank. They were all fun to own but I eventually traded them all in as they were too destructive to the tankmates or needed a tank all by themselves. The only one that has worked out is my Asian RTG. It chases everything, bites my hand but I will be keeping it as it doesn't kill anything and does good in my community predatory setup. I have owned everything dovi,piranha(4 types),pbass, wolf fish, snakeheads, knife fish and every other predator under the sun and the first 3 I mentioned where the meanest!
