OK:
Pink = homozygous for the pink gene. (Not "homozygous recessive")
Black = homozygous normal
Black, with recessive pink gene = heterozygous for pink.
If you have two normal convicts, that are heterozygous, then some of the offspring will be pink, and some of the "normal" ones will be heterozygous, while others will be homozygous.
Simple mendelian genetics. You need to know this stuff, if you want to experiment with breeding, etc.
Hard to see the pink marble because they wont keep still, and a black female.
Just ordered some HRPs from Rapps i will get them tomorrow, does anyone have any sajica cichlids for sale? i want to hybrid a sajica with an HRP, i think that will be hot.
I my Marble is taking a liking to my Hrp!!! this will be interesting if they breed. I would love to make some Blue marbles.
