Looks amazing, but I still think that 30" tall is pretty tall. I don't keep rays and my tanks only 5x3x2 (2' tall) and it doesn't feel like it needs to be any taller really. If you chose it for the asthetic approach then I can totally agree with you, 30" tall looks amazing to other people, like a show tank.
Your set up looks amazing and when someone puts that much effort into something they deserve to have all the best come back to them, so I hope your project goes well, looks like so far its off to an amazing start!

I do like the asthetic look however the rays are bigger and could sometimes you the room to flip the females. but I am sure 2ft is plenty as well. Thank you very much for your kind words I hope to have pups in the near future.

Wow, very nice. I love to see a fishroom come together. It's just all the heavy lifting that suck's.
so when is the fish store opening lol. looks good alot of tanks down there. like your filtration set ups. did you make the biotowers yourself for the two hystrix tanks? and where did you get the drip plate or how did you drill it that uniform and manly times without cracking. i usually get about 5 rows down then mess it up.
