Twin Titan Tanks Part 2 (Controls & mechanical)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
sorry for the bad pic's, my camera sucks.......

I was just thinking "all this technology yet he can't take an in-focus close up of the screen!"

Jokes aside, it certainly is an amazing system, and yes I'm sure everyone would love to see the fish in it!!!!!

I'm impressed. I've always wanted to try a full monitor system. Big fan of automation. Where does one go about putting together a system like that. I've worked with java a little and visual basic. Would either of those get me close? lol

Can't wait to see the complete picture.

Im an electrician, my dads an instrument tech and we both love fish... both spent about 2 hours dribbling over this thread!!

Great work

Thanks for sharing.

read the whole thread. I understood half of what you were talking about but it didnt matter this setup is absolutely amazing! for any one who ridiculous this tank they have to be crazy! Like the classic saying says you never can be too careful! Also the organization of the setup is second to none. This type of setup is something I only could dream of! Some day I ant to make something similar! One question? can you give a rough estimate on hours and/or cash dropped? (i want to start saving up ) lol

Automation doesn't have to be this elaborate, I kind of went overkill, but that's what I wanted to do...just google aquarium automation and get started.......helps if you can meet some folks that have some knowledge of automation.....
