There are a lot better. Dragonball is one of the best but not certainly above them all. Very repetitive on its own.

To OP: I have watched Naruto, Hunter-X-Hunter, Fairy Tail (stopped at 114), Samurai X, BT X, One Piece and a lot more. I have seen Death Note but I can no longer remember it.

there is Ninja Scroll and Vampire Hunter D 1 and 2. then there are the rest

I'm more into films than watching series. never cared for Dragon Ball. for me the art plays a huge roll in whether I can get into the anime

recently watched Berserk 1 and 2. really enjoyed it

My problem with Anime has always been the artwork.They all seem to be done with that same,angular,diamond looking style that I never cared for so I didn't get into watching them.
