tsn would be a better attempt than a rtc, but unless you have a longer term pond, I would stay away from them, to often you see them end up in the wrong place.
I have a 300g tub like your I turned it into a preditory tub. I have 1-30in arowana, 1-31in longnose gar, 3-fl gars 12in-20in and an 25in ornate bichir and an 15in delhezi bichir. I have an ehiem 2262 and an oceanic clear filter running it and do 50% WC every 3 days. And have 2 mag 16 in it as a current cause they to swim against it. I also have to air stones and 2-350 wt heaters. And water is crystal clear. Only thing I hate is you can't really see them like you can in an tank.
