If you decide to get a refugium then your params will be good to go, it should take out your nitrates eventually.

They didnt have the firefish. But i got a gigantic leather coral for practically free. Its 6"-8" long and wide. It is brown with green tentacles. This thing is gigantic. I paid 10$ for it. They even through in a 5" piece of live rock for me to attach the leather to since its not attached to any rocks.
Well the corals are in the tank. Im a little worried about the leather coral. I rubberbanded the unusually long, fleshy base of the leather to a smallish piece of live rock. The rubber band has made a slight indentation on the flesh and its not deep but its not shallow either. Is this something to be worried about? Im going to google it right now either way, but i just thought maybe there's some insight out there the internet doesnt already possess.
The majority of the corals are closed or not showing any good colors yet. No pics until tomorrow evening/night because i have school.
Well the gumdrop goby ditched the hammer coral and is now hosting in the leather coral. I think this is good because the leather coral is closer to the glass and more out in the open. So i have a better view of him.
Nice tank, you came a long way from fat syno's to this, I'm kinda going backwards, first I kept marine puffers and now I just have a syno tank, do you still keep freshwater?
