Thanks for sharing this rare fish.

Do they have a preference for live versus non-live foods? When you say you give them shrimp, is it alive or dead?

What's their typical growth rate and how do you plan to keep them when they hit 1', 2' and 3'?

I was gonna say they remind me a lot of a flying fish. lol, do they jump a lot? Looks like they have that crosshair style vision where they can jump and eat food off branches.
as far as i keep, nope, they never jump, lol i dont think they capable to do that :grinno::grinno:
A very uniquely beautiful fish, ty for shareing! are they generally schooling fish?
the come from sumatra island and i live in java island long trip make them really stress out so for a few day they fine live with another one,but when the mood is back , nite when light is turn off they fight each other very often and with sharp teeth yes they capable to kill each other,so they not schooling fish at all.

Thanks for the answers. So, despite their incompatibility, you intend to raise them separately and try combining them in that pond when they are bigger, is that the plan?
