I thought he was more like 14-15" when you got him?

No, I think he was pushing 12-13. He may be a bit over 12 in this pic, but not much, if any. In the pic he is in a 120 square, I moved him out of that when he was around 15". The date on the pic was March 0f 2011. So I am just guesstimating.

I know he wins hands down, but if you want to disqualify him because he may be an inch or so over 12", its all good. :D

Thanks. Officially not sure he wasn't labeled as anything specific just dovii at the lfs but Nicaraguan would be my guess too. Had him since he was about 1.5in. He's a great fish and definitely has a home for life.

Oh cool. Was just going by your first post when you got them on fishbox where it said 14-15" for the male and like 10" for the female.

Still prefer the look of the Nicaraguan dovii over the Costa Rican though.
