yea, carl is really shaping up to become a badass. they are hinting at all kinds of things he can potentially become in the future. i'm guessing one day rick dies and the story will continue with carl. that or they separate and go on their own paths or something, iono

I just finished issue 97. kind of bummed i'll catch up and have to wait now like you poor guys. they keep finding better and better places to potentially set up shop. farm, prison, Alexandria and now the hilltop. only thing that seemed kind of dumb about the whole hilltop situation is, you got badasses like Jesus but yet the whole community seems, like andrea said, a bunch of pathetic weaklings. i'm getting a feeling Abraham is gonna turn on rick some how and they'll clash for leadership. no spoilers if anything like that is remotely true boys.

but I was really glad to see that andrea and rick are pretty much gonna hook up. you were right chris, I've really grown to like andrea's character. I also really like how strong they've become as a unit. rick, andrea, michonne, Abraham, glenn and i'm sure soon enough, carl. they pwned the 4 Negans riding on the bikes on their way back from hilltop. really set the tone in that scene. on other topics, the comic Maggie isn't as tough as the show's Maggie though. I can see why they killed off Sophia in the show. her part in the comic is pretty insignificant as of now

no, no, no, NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOW COULD THEY??? they killed glenn!!!! a part of me has died with him. that was so brutal! that was so sad! that was so unexpected! that was so painfully awesome!!! oh it hurts! right in the FEELS!!!!! man, they've never had this level of threat, EVER!!! I felt so hopeless when they offed Abraham in such a weak way. he didn't even have the chance to go out fighting. but glenn!!! damn, that was absolutely barbaric. issue 100 effing brought the jaw dropper!!!!! now I know why chris said the last few months waiting for the next issue has been so brutal
 
Back to tv. I don't know what to do next week. Major conflict. Watch game of thrones and dvr the walking dead or vice versa. Life is rough!

I'm taking a shot for every zombie kill and white walker kill that night though

wow, glad they let us get to know Negan a little. the guy is hilarious. the gov is a little girl compared to this guy. I love his humor and his lines are hilarious. I lol'd when he was trying to pick which of the group he kills and when he got to carl, he called him a future serial killer, lol. and that he won't kill carl because it's too damn interesting to kill him before his story is done, lmao. anyways, the battles with enemies just keep getting more and more intense. it's hard to imagine what they'll come up with next after this whole Negan situation. gonna be hard to top that

Somehow I missed this post but I totally agree with you. It takes a loong time before bones(skull) becomes as brittle as they are showing.

I started reading. Only got 1 and 2. I have a question. Does the TV show also claim Rick is from Kentucky? It seems way too far to be riding the horse from. Who would go hundreds of miles(two states away) just to another city?
