Pic Tip: Get yourself a set of radio triggers so you wont have to use the on camera flash to trigger the speedlight. You'll be much happier with the results.

Thanks guys. Yeah I am in need of a remote trigger asap. At least I got the speedlight out of the way. Now down to cheap parts left to pick up. Stay tuned.

Well the opercle is the "gill plate" which is made up of four bones (of which the preopercle is one). Anterior would be the forward portion of it (toward the head).
