I'm interested... PM me

Looks just like mine. So I think he looks awesome. ;)

Same head shape, same colors, same fins. He's a LONG way off from a black GATF though. The line of color on his head and back where it goes from the darker part to the chrome part is even exactly the same as it is on my fish.

Check out the link in my sig to my GATF, I posted a video this morning. He looks how yours will look when he gets to about a foot long.

My fish under comparable lighting to yours-

Yes, lighting will make a difference.

that does look the same. well thanks for clearing it up for me. too bad i figured i might have gotten lucky with a super rare fish. im not sure which one id keep then cuz i do like the jaw structure of the bright silver one a bit better. i just want a single perfect fish just like yours. it looks way better then just ripped up fins and cuts from constant battles.

If you kept that little guy in an intense black water environment for the next five years, there's a good chance he'd be at least partly black. I'm not entirely convinced its worth the effort though. I'm keeping mine in black water as an experiment and he has gotten a tad darker and continues to get darker, but maintaining the blackwater is a major PITA. It does look nice though.

There's actually a few out there like our dark ones. They're not unusual at all. I like the jaw structure on these better myself, though I'll admit the other ones seem to have bigger jaws.

EDIT-

Also, turn off your bubbler about ten minutes before you try to take pics. It makes life MUCH easier. Trust me lol.

haha alright yea the bubbles r givin me a headache. and alright. 5 years the fish will be about what? 20" or so? yea i dont think its worth the effort for me. ill just leave it where it is and grow him out in that set up for now.
