Whats your favorite freshwater rod and reel?

As long as it doesn't feel like a broom stick. I feel like as long as I'm catching and not fishing it doesn't matter what rod I have. lol But something in the 7 ft and $100 range. St. Croix Fenwick are nice. Has to break into 2 pieces or it is worthless to me. I perfer a longer rod, medium light to light action.

Im planning on putting my rods to the test this year on the delaware river and this weekend at a reservoir with potential 10+ pound trout

Ive been saving some money and Im gonna buy a new rod maybe this weekend. I just got my two abu garcias last weekend but id love to pick up another rod. Not sure if I want a baitcaster or a spinning rod.

good lookin out for the hank parker's andrew... he's a great fishing role model! (outside of fishing not so much anymore haha)

- My favorite bass combo is easily my Johnny Morris Gold 6:4:1 baitcaster with my custom made 7' medium light custom rod that I built by hand. Ravens Themed with a Ray Lewis decal including his number, years played, and two superbowl numerals

Caught more big bass on that reel than any i've ever owned and it never disappoints... rod is fairly new only caught a few little guys but it has a bright future and has more sensitivity than any rod i've ever owned. I can feel every movement of my bait.

Favorite Saltwater Combo is my Penn Battle 3000/7' St Croix Triumph Combo

thats a nice setup you got there.

My bass pro shops pro qualifier has never let me down even catching 30 big bass a day that thing still kicks ass paired up with a ugly stick inshore split grip

Probably not my favorite, but my most versatile setup. And the longest setup that I've owned. I just recently stripped the blank down and rewrapped this rod too.
