Any fish that gets the size of an O or bigger shouldnt be in a 75g. My opinion again.

So a 15" fish can't be in a 48x18" tank yet you find it OK to keep an 18" fish in a 48x24" tank?

Taking measurements and quick calculations I see about an average 12 -13 inch fish, not the 16-20 inch monsters that are being claimed as normal.

If you would have read the entire thread u would have noticed that i said i dont like keeping the 18" aro in a 24" deep tank. Im trying to rehome him.
Rehome him or sell him? Either way very hypocritical for you to comment in this thread when you are guilty of keeping fish in worse conditions then you are preaching against.
I actually saved the fish from a 48x18x18 that was half full and no filter. I think its pretty justified why i have the fish.

Obviously refferencing size is difficult for some. But you can clearly see his shadow, hes slanted but yet still takes up 1/4 of the width. Tank being 60" wide.

And i payed good money to get him out of those conditions. Its not easy finding a buyer who has a big enough tank.

First, the slant of the shadow is extremely slight and will cause very little change in measuring.
Second the tank it's length x width x height so it would be 24 not 60 inches wide. If you are now saying it is six inches, ok.
Third, now it's gone from at least 14+ to now a definite 15 or better. Either measurement skills elude you or is the fish growing as we speak? Will it be at 18-20 by the next week. Are we offering proof of actual sizes or telling fish stories.
