Ok so I was wondering what are some good catfish species as pets. Can someone list the top ten in their personal preferences. I would also like to know the minimum tank size for each species listed. Thanks in advance!!!

when do you plan on building the tank and how big is it going to be. No offence a lot of people say I will build or buy a tank soon and never do for different reasons.

For a small tank I like the Ozark or Checkered Madtoms (20g long is minimum)for a medium sized tank I like stonecats or Yellow Bullheads (40g minimum for stonecat and 55g minimum for the yellow Bullhead), for a large tank the Albino Channel catfish and White catfish (250g minimum for white cat and 400g minimum for the Albino Channel cat) and for a Very large tank I would like one day to have a Blue Catfish (800g minimum) all the minimum tank sizes are for grown adults and depends on the dimensions width.

If I could I would get the rare and hard to find Spotted Bullhead witch would need at least a 70g tank.

Spotted Bullhead are far from rare lol

Lol?,....Im not talking about Brown or Yellow Bullheads with a spotted pattern; Im talking about "Ameiurus serracanthus" whose official English name is "Spotted Bullhead", do you happen to know of anyone selling a legitimate Ameiurus serracanthus? Id also be interested In learning about any Flat Bullhead if you know where to find those also?
