Cloning the Wolly Mammoth

^all of the above^
plus seriously, a gigantic extinct animal, also altered by man? earth's habitat is completely different now, compared to when they lived. this would bring a non-native species into an unmatched environment. it'd be worse than releasing fish into the wrong areas.
too many mermaid fantasies in the air lately.

what about zoological gardens?

Please take the time to google Sergej Simow. He has created a very interesting project and wants to introduce mammoths there.

kinda like a jurassic park. No one would clone some T rex and introduce them into the wild for example.
Hearing that "No one would..." totally guarantees me that Some One would.
anyway, the entire planet is anti-habitat for this species now.

No, unless their blood was incompatible with our atmosphere or the temperature was too off, or gravity truly has gotten too strong from Earth growing too massive for the animal to move, I think T-rex could probably find a niche today. It would have to eat a LOT of tiny little deer and horses, cows, etc.

if a strain of a animal clone brought a epidemic to the human kind good thing ... population control

I think we're too small to be considered T-Rex food...in general.

The modern mammalian flesh would disagree with their digestive tracts.

and giant plumes of gas would blow out their rear ends, resulting in the new dragons.

and lots of "No Smoking Outside" areas.
