my friend actually caught it and he didn't want it anymore so I took it, its pretty mean anytime I go in front or pass by the tank it looks at my every move and he doesn't like pellets?? hell eat bread and cereal or moving things??? cool fish though new experience so I like it for n0w

yeah he looked small when I saw it in my friends pond too once I took him out of the water I saw how big he really was

i have mine in a tank with a lmb, fl gar, bullhead, and a few pumpkin seeds. he can be aggressive twards the pumpkin seeds but nothing to malicious. just kinds chases them out of his area and that is that. never even makes contact with them. that being said, he will stand his ground with my lmb. he has even chased my lmb a time or two. as far as feeding mine will pretty much eat anything. if you only offer them the pellets for a day or two, they will get hungry enough and take them. that is what mine did. i had been feeding them worms and i ran out the night before and forgot to get more that day. when i went to feed the shiners that were in the tank for feeders for the other fish some regular flakes, the blugill started eating them too. i have several really small ones that i am growing out that eat flakes as well.

im trying to redecorate his tank im adding driftwood and moss around the wood to make it look like its growing all over the place, with sprite as floating plants and i want to get a four-line catfish,pictus catfish,and like 3 rafael catfish,as bottom dwellers. Do you guys think i could add a goby of some type, or a
butis butis?

heres a vid I did real quick sorry was kind of in a hurry so its a little short, hes getting used to me and coming up to the tank now still chooses bread and catfood over pellets. im currently thinking and making sure what I want and how I want it and so far im starting to get back into the hobby again if I really like how it comes out at the end I think I might setup the 220s and set up for bass, or bigger characins... heres a vid and a few pics
