How many bass and what kind would you guys say are good for 500 gallons??? I MAY be able to do a 650 or so though MAYBE... But like everyone says, " BIGGER IS BETTER"!

pb with rays seems nice to me... But these 2 guys will bring your bio load sky high!

Maybe just 1 ray then cause i may not even be able to afford that LOL! The cheapest rays near me are motoros and are $125 for a small one...

As far as pbass go just try to avoid temensis and pinima because they get huge and for setups I always have bass as my predators, silverdollars as dithers, and some sort of medium to large catfish as my clean up crew. Bass aren't usually overly aggressive so different combinations work out fine......geos, datnoids, severums or whatever.

IS IT GOOD TO GROW THEM OUT FROM WHEN EVERY SINGLE FISH IS SMALL??? I MAY BUY ALL SMALL FISH TO WATCH THEM GROW AND TO SAVE MONEY LOL XD

8'L x 4'W x 3'T (700g+) with 5-6 pbass (orino & azul imo), with 10+ redhook silver dollars and a bunch of geos!
 
If you think $125 is a lot for a ray think again about costs of your tank. Just building a 650 gallon will most likely cost around $1k. Also, the upkeep of all those fish will end up costing more than the initial price. But if you have the funds than I say good luck
