Jim, helping fish hobbyist has nothing to do with being a staff or not. its the passion to help with "power" or not. So I now questioning your intention? to help or just to have the Title?

perhaps any comparison to VP of USA was an effort to explain that "you can't be APPOINTED". at least one current mod has to choose you for getting on the ticket, then the others have to agree & vote you in.
Last guy I know who got modded has practically disappeared from mfk altogether. it sucks.

i should've give a better analogy .. what i am try to say is.. he is asking to be 2nd in command position.
 
I've been a member here for a long time. And that's the most ridiculous thing I've seen. I agree with the comparison and know where it was going. Being second in command holds aIot of weight. I have people telling me what I can and any do all the time ,with my past tanks and the one i have now, being the age if the op and its laughable. The mods on this site are by far the best I've ever come across. Not only friendly they're smart as hell too.

Hopefully I don't get an infraction, but it would be well worth it. For you to make a post like this over something so asinine speaks a lot about your character. As a 62 year old man, you should be thoroughly embarrassed of your actions. Acting like a child because you wouldn't be appointed the title of "global mod". From what I can see, you barely post on this site, which tells me that your "old wisdom" has basically gone to waste. I've been a member of this forum for a little over a year and I have 4 times as many contributions via post count than you do in 7 years. Li, I'm sorry you had to deal with such stupidity on the worst day possible, all my best to you.
