Osaka Kaiyukan Aquarium - your opinion

Its really famous for what it displays. I give you some examples:







The whale sharks are a true sensation. I can tell you if you ever come to Osaka go there!

It's the biggest in the world afaik.. So it can only be impressive
I would love to see it, same as Atlanta and Barcelona.

I would love if we hada tank with a great white. And i mean a big one. I know its hard but i think its possible. Whale sharks are harder in my opinion.

Sadly great whites pass away for unknown reasons in aquariums after max. 6 months... Whale sharks seem to be ok if you get the food problem sorted.

Holy s***! My bro went there and said it was insane! unfortunately i dont think I'll ever be allowed to enter the country I wish I had a tank that big!

The Monterey Bay aquarium here has kept baby great whites before but had to release them because they keep eating their other sharks!

I've seen the great white shark that was at the Monterey bay aquarium, it's cool but not nearly as special as I thought it would have been. Maybe it was because it was only like 5 feet long

why would you not be allowed to enter Japan?

As for the great whites, i'm sure it is possible in a large enough tank. whale sharks do fine well and nobody would habe believed that before.

yes, also with manatee, arapaima and so on. But the main theme is marine, They even have barracuda.
