Ok, Aquascape wise, They prefer wood, plants? rocks? sand? gravel? I've got everything just need to dig in my fish chest that my wife makes me hide in the attic lol.

I kept mine (sold it) in a plain tank with sand substrate. You can add hiding spots such as wood but it's purely based on preferance. Hiding spots can ease or start aggression.

I expected the curupira to kill the mala but it looks like he doesn't care that much bout him they are like same size so just wanted to give it a shot the but yeah you gotta provide lots of hiding spots I like Drift wood the best and they look the best the funny thing is that my pleco kicks the curus ass

I wouldn't put plecos in a tank with wolves since they will suck the slime coats off them. Plecos will leave a ugly mark on the wolf and can cause serious infections. There was a thread like this a while ago about this. I would remove the pleco ASAP.

as for the double hoplias cohab, they might be comfortable together right now but they will snap eventually. There were thread about two curupiras living together then killing eat other. I had an red wolf living snuggly with my bichirs. The wolf start to terrorize the entire tank after the 2nd month. But who knows? All depends on personality.

Has anyone kept Erythrinus Erythrinus together successfully besides Indy?
After googling Erythrinus Erythrinus conspecifics seems like all the links advise against it.

Damn I didn't think the pleco would be that dangerous tho where he came from had lots of plecos in the tank

I keep 2 of them together. One is 6" and the other 4". I also have 3 plecos with them and one 18" and have not had any problems. Each one has their own temperament. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. As mentioned if your going to try it make sure you have a backup tank ready in case it doesn't work. Wolves like to his in plants but then you don't get to see them much. I like driftwood or a couple stones better

Good to know that other people are having success. Honestly, I would like to try again, but after last time I'm not sure if mine will tolerate another.
