Is that crossback a blue base? I import the blue base crossbacks and when they are 8 inches are very light colored almost white.
Most crossbacks look bluebased as juvuniles, it's hard to tell what the base would look like as it matures. Some people look at the eye colour to predict how the base colour will turn out

What are you currently feeding yours? With the driftwood in the tank is he capable to swim down and pick up worm or other food from tank bottom?
