Need a rtc?

No but thank you.

I actually get several offers for Phractocephalus hemioliopterus every year and they are one of my favourites.

However there are 3 in the 196kl at present.

Two I bought June 27, 2004 from Jerry Draper at the Tropical Fish Room in Brantford Ontario. They are great fish but these two have never gotten very large and are about 90cm for the smaller and about 100 cm for the larger.

The third came in June 2006 and also from Jerry Draper via a customer named Sheldon (Not Cooper of the Big Bang..lol) and is a larger and heavier bodied fish which I feel might be about 117 cm. Friends believe it to be a bit larger.

I believe the two smaller ones are males and the larger one a female.

wow can you please post pics of your wallago rtc tsn and all the other monster cats you have

Sorry I don't have any new pictures but will get some when fishy friends who take good pictures visit.

However these are 4 photo's of the female Wallago leerii taken a couple of years ago by my buddy Rusty Wessell when he visited.
I have posted these before.
The wall she is crossing over is 30.5cm (1 foot) wide.
In the 4th picture a Phractocephalus hemioliopterus is crossing the wall in the opposite direction. The red tail cat is about 300cm (12 feet) behind the Wallago.

10,000 gallons water change a week....I can't begin to imagine....

The water change is continual and does vary.

The past 2 months I've increased it from 36,700 litres (10,000 US gallons/8,000 Imperial gallons) to about 44,000 litres a week.

wow shes a monster

She is a big girl.

She will be 23 years in my tanks on January 3rd, 2014. I bought her at 28.4cm for $50 from Aquarium Services (Also called Big Al's) Mississauga Ontario on 3/1/1991.

Pretty impressive for someone who works as a guppy counter.

Wow that's some dedication. Congrats for giving your pets the best possible environment you can. After all that's all we can do apart from nutrition and water quality.
