Looking to get 2-3 Erpetons to increase my group of two and hopefully get a pair and some breeding going on.

These are the last herps I'm looking to buy this year as I'm getting my two new spengleri turtles tomorrow!

Adult size preferable but I'll take whatever I can get.

(Video of one of my current two eating in their swamp enclosure.)

Still looking, figure it can't hurt to repost this.

Good lord what in the hell is that! First time I seen or heard about it! Is it an actual snake or thats what its called because of how it looks? Cool feeding video though!!!

Those are actual snakes. I personally like elephant trunk snakes and banded file snakes better cuz they move around a lot more.

Yeah, these guys really do not move. They make ball pythons look like candiru in that sense.

But that's partially what I find fascinating about them, as I've mostly got ambush predators in their tank, and the fact that they stay so still is probably the main reason my turtle ignores them.

Bump!

Good luck trying to find them man. I saw a tank with about 7 of them at NARBC a few years ago, but ever since then, never saw them again.

Thanks, I've been emailing people I've seen put up posts in the last few years on faunaclassifieds, and bugging the people I got mine from as well. One guy says they're selling for $1500 a pair now, which is frankly bonkers considering I got mine for $250/ea about a year ago.

Damn! Ya that's rediculous! Last ones I saw were $100 each. I'll keep a look out for ya cuz I've been searching for a pair of puff faced water snakes.

Thanks! Yeah I don't expect to pay nearly that much, but I wouldn't mind paying more than I did before.
