thanks.. its so infrequent that you agree with me!!... the TIDE needs to quit playing jv teams or expect attendance to dwindle from boredom:popcorn:by the way the nick SABAN COMMENT WAS PLAYED THEN PANNED ON Colin Cowherds show.. with COWHERD sighting scheduling as a reason for the lack of attendance ... btw when did you start moderating my posts .. I AM NOT DONE PANNING Bamma:)
 
100,000 fans attend every home game. attendance isn't the issue.

maybe you should say more things that are agreeable. saban is an idiot for that comment but the nonconference schedule isn't the reason. who in their right mind is going to agree to go to play them in tuccaloosa? hahahaha. truth is they should let the defense play offense and the offense play d from the second quarter on to make the games more equal so the fans will stay

.. YOUR RIGHT ABOUT ONE THING THOUGH ,, AND THAT WAS MY ONLY POINT IN MY POST Saban was stupid(aroggant)to call out his fans about showing up (and not staying LONG enough) SO IF WE agree on that .. THERE IS no reason to pick my post apart to argue:popcorn: BTW the fans leaving early is not an issue with me ...THAT'S WHY I think SABAN .. OUGHT TO STICK TO FOOTBALL.. and leave the politicking to the smarter people on campus

from comments including the pac 12 president, they want a home and home and will not accept a one way trip to alabama. alabama will also not do neutral sites such as schools like LSU and Georgia. So yes, the cream of the crop will NOT go into alabama for the chance to get a shot at the title (they already GET one just by winning their own schedule without taking risks).

now if you're talking smaller schools like boise, tcu, etc. i'm not gonna pretend i'm educated enough on the topic of wether they would go into alabama. they'd likely want neutral fields.

the only way that big schools will play each other is if the presidents/commissioners of the conference agree to a few games a year over a 3-5 year period. it wont' happen from a school to school approach unless you're talking to notre dame
 
TEAMS like BOISE , FRESNO, TCU ,,notre dame, byu, florida st,, THESE TEAMS DON'T DUCK anybody ...HOME OR AWAY...AND THEY ARE ALL MORE COMPETITIVE THAN anybody on the TIDES SCHEDULE in the last 3 years.. and yes N.D. ALWAYS WANTS home &home... for the NBC tv money,,, if THE Tide aren't scared of a little non-conference comp ...why are these teams ( and others like navy... at least they aren't FORIDA A&M) ON THE SCHEDULE .. they play nothing but patsies.. DON'T FOOL YOURSELF ,,, the recruiting benefits of playing BAMA ON TV

has em lined up at the door ,,ALL Bama has to do is sign em up.......the perfect example of a team that doesn't duck anybody is ASU... WISCONSIN AND ND THIS YEAR .. GEORGIA AND MIZZOU IN RECENT YEARS ... NEBRASKA ... and don't try to say ASU isn't a major conference school... AT least they have a sporting news national championship(..1975) .. most of the teams that play a crappy non conference schedule , and that would be claimed as major players don't even have that,,, including your DUCKS
 
So if bama played Notre dame in week 2, it'd stop fans from leaving early in week 3-12? Its the point you're trying to make = )

no ... but if they played a competitive schedule it wouldn't be a problem at all .. the fans aren't Leaving early when it's A&M..UNLESS its..FLORIDA a&m,,, if you play a good team you can keep fannies in the seats.. I know conference games can't be helped .. BUT they play...4 ....non-conference games a year 3 or 4 out of 4 at home.. my argument ,,, and even COLIN COWHERD'S(WHO IF YOU HAVEN'T been keepin' up.. IS SMART).. IF YOU WAN'T PEOPLE IN THE SEATS IN THE 4TH QUARTER.. PLAY SOMEBODY WORTH A CRAP IN NON-CONFERENCE , when you can schedule anybody you want
