I am busy re-planning the pump room now. Stand by for a new sketchup rendering.
eliminating a couple of things, changing post drum filter sump design, simpler plumbing layout and switching back to a single Pentair i1 variable speed DC pool pump.

Brown truck dropped this off today

Been reading the instructions. Very neat pump.

3hp permanent magnet DC motor derated by attaching a 1hp impeller to it.
Infinite speed control from 450 to 3450 rpm
4 preset buttons that can be set at any speed you want
Built in clock/timer pump speed schedule programmer - (it will automatically change pump speeds based on an internal timer)
LCD display shows both pump speed and watts being used
ultra silent and cool running and power efficient

Very nice set up you have there. You are using some pretty awesome gear.

Will be keeping an eye on this for inspiration although I don't know if I could justify to my partner dropping more cash on my tank.

Also a lot of the gear is very over the top for me, in a good way.

Best way to think of this pump is if Reeflo made a variable speed DC Tiger Shark pump that was max flow limited to 6,500gph, but still capable of 80' head pressure.

Fantastic set-up. Very inspiring.
If i were a Discus in captivity I know where I'd want to live.
