Well,they didn't go all into detail in the news segment but if the phone that you want costs that type money......

I love my S4, and I only paid $200 through US Cellular, and it didn't even extend my contract out cause that's how they roll.
If your willing to dish out a couple extra $ wait till the 1st quarter of 2014. Samsung will be releasing the godly f series phone. If not and you cant wait id suggest a s4 or note 3. Also windows phones are progressing rapidly. I'd be using windows right now but imo they aren't far enough in app development yet and I kind of have an loyalty to Samsung now for phones...
