Just curious... What type of fish are you reffering to? The only clear/white eggs I have encountered were those that were infertile/not fertilized and they came from a hybrid not a pure breed.
Lots of fish have clear eggs - many killiefish, tetras, koi, etc. have clear eggs. Eggs that turn white are usually infertile.

My jag texas hybrid but it's day two and only a few are white

if its only a few that means those eggs have not been fertilized. If they are white it means they have fungised over. The fungis might spread to other eggs.

hello; As stated by others some fertile fish eggs are clear and this is normal. I have induced zebra danioes to spawn in biology classrooms. for the first few days the eggs could be siphoned up and placed in dished microscope slide glass. The students could observe with a low power stereo scope the stages of development because the eggs were clear. We could for a few days after hatching siphon up the fry and see the organs thru the transparent skin. After a while the skin began to develope pigmentation and the fry were too lerge to be safely sucked into a small tube. If viewed briefly the eggs and fry could be returned the the tank and then were allowed to mature.
