Men Going to Baby Showers

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was there/drunk at my wife's baby shower. My circle of friends is very close and I only attended that particular shower because our friends all brought their husbands. The girls ooooh'd and ahhhhhh'd over the gifts and the guys drank adult beverages and talked sports. Everyone was happy. That being said she also had one for family and coworkers, all women, I was not invited nor would I have gone. Did I mention I have an amazing wife. And she is actuly due with our 2nd on July 4th.

My lady wouldnt even ask. Thank goodness. Im with you Sumo, NO WAY!:grinno:

I sat one out about a month ago. Old high school mutual friend of me and my girlfriend so I was invited too. The baby shower was "co-Ed". No such thing in my mind. Plus it was far away and on a Sunday when there's football on. Truth be told I don't even like other people's kids!

Men don't do showers with their wives unless it is the "shower" in the bathroom. I showed up to load the car with the gifts and that was it.

Not a chance , she wouldn't even ask the answer would be to obvious.................. I've got water changes to do ;)

The only man who should ever attend one is the baby's daddy, and even he isn't required to be there

Well said Inglorious!

After 2 years just to hear the words I am pregnant from my wife and complications during the 9 months she was pregnant you better believe I was going. IMO your man card should be removed for not going if it is yours.
