it's so amusing that SF barely squeaks by GB in horriid conditions with a last second FG and the media is in celebratory mode and labeling them a shoe in to the conference title game and seattle wins a game without EVER trailing or being in a situation they could lose (a hail mary and a 2 point conversion only ties it) in horrid conditions and its OMG, THE HAWKS MUST IMPROVE? That glass half full for the 9ers and glass half empty for the hawks is mind blowing

And the saints barely squeaked by the eagles two weeks ago. So what is your point? Were you impressed with the way the seahawks played? Not much offense. Rush and pass for less than 300 yards against either the panthers or niners next week, and the seahawks will be watching the super bowl.
 
Was anyone else wondering, if only briefly, if there was a bounty on Harvin?

If youre taking a once or twice a year look at seattle youd walk away unimpressed. If you actually watched the season and took away the highs and lows, what you saw yesterday is what the hawks are.

Heck, if you play fantasy football alone, youd notice this.

So no im not impressed but i know this style now stands 14-3 and has won more games then anyone else left on the bracket. 4th ranked NO defense finished better then 5th ranked Sf defense. Maybe some credit should be given to the saints D?

I've been following the Seahawks since birth (though I haven't been to a game since the Kingdome) and would love a superbowl but Wilson needs to bring his A game next week for sure. Especially if they go down early. Look at Wilson's passer rating against the 49er's. Both the win and the loss his rating is in the bottom 5 for the season. There's a pretty serious negative trend in his passer rating starting at week 11 as well.
 
All the teams that are or will be left at the end of this week end have the type of offence needed to play outside at the Medowlands in Feb. They all have a great running game that will be the key to victory. Establish the run and then use the passing game once the defence commets to stopping the run. The team with the strongest ground game will win this year, who ever it is that ends up there. Next week will be interesting.

I agree with Eddie the Saints defence needs to get some credit it wasn't the lack of offencive ability by the Seahawks it was a determined and very tough NO defence.
