do you think if you threw in a bunch of jag fry with a bunch of lets say dovii fry the parents would notice? or would they raise them?

interesting question...I don't know...I can't think of the specific example but I think I have heard of such things happening in nature...maybe in a large tank with multiple spawning pairs fry could get mixed around and taken care of by different parents of the same or similar species...

Are males known to grow faster than females? I'm growing out a group of 5 and 2 of them are out growing the others by a big margin.

I have another about the same size, the other 3 are about on par with the latest pics in this thread, if not smaller.

for me not old enough to sex yet. as for grow rate, no ideal. I have 2 females but no males.
