Hey guys,

Just saw this post. Impressive tank. I was just wondering where this place was. I am from rochester and there are very few reputable aqua shops around here. Buffalo really isn't to far.
 
North tonawanda not too far from the thruway, depending on where your at in Rochester it'd probably take like 45 mins to an hour to get there

If you are going for a trip, add Pets Plus in Lockport (~20 min from The Fish Place) and Markheim's Pets (~15-20 min from The Fish Place). I lived in Greece, NY. My routine was I'd take 104 to Lockport to Pets Plus, then The Fish Place, then Markheim's.
 
Markheims its alright, they mainly have typical community fish. They do have a MASSIVE softshell turtle on display and a nice reptile area. 42 aquatics in east aurora is awesome, they have the nicest tanks I've seen, never saw a dead fish there. They also almost always have datnoids which I've never seen anywhere else locally. They have true red terrors (real festae) consistently. Also the biggest plant selection I've ever seen

Markheim doesn't have the selection they once did, but the fish place n pets plus have great selection!!! 42 aquatics is nice too, but a bit far for me. They do get festae often as a guy around the corner from them breeds them.

And take I-90 home. All in all ~5 h taking time to see each tank at each store.
