Baby oscar growth rate questions

The color will be best when they reach like 8 plus inches, they will look a lot different then Edgar they do now.

i have a 4 in a half foot and 7 foot aquarium, one with koi fish and irdisident sharks, the other one is 7 foot with a rtc and a arowana, a fire eel and oscar

Bro ima tell u now oscars grow fast as hell ... One o the fastest growing fish iv ever had u can literally watch them grow cause its so fast I had 2 1" baby's .... They grew so fast that in 4 months they were both bigger than my hand and about a inch and a half wide bad to ditch them cause they were tearin up my 14" bichir and they will eat everything in sight u will have to over feed just to be able to get the other fih to get some

A little confusing here. The 4.5ft tank has 2 small O's, 2 Clarius, Koi and ID sharks? If yes, very overstocked. Koi are cold water fish, ID sharks can reach 2feet. 7foot tank has Arowana and RTC? Again, huge size potential, RTC are pond fish, 4ft size potential and will gulp down foot long Oscars with ease. Your 2 Oscars should have their own tank, and much more footprint than 4.5ft. Overcrowding Oscars leads to stress and subsequent health problems. They will not grow an inch a month is cramped quarters.
