I guess about 2 years, it was a very long time for sure, never thought he would darken.

Perfect rays mate, thanks for posting. The darker one is a stunner but I love them both. Are you going to be selling the pup?

Many Henlei have similar spotting as pups, some develop king spotting as a result, some don't. As you know, my pair are good quality rays especially the dad pictured in this thread, up to now no pup from them has disappointed.

Here is the last pup again, literally taken a couple of weeks later....the change is remarkable, black rings appearing around the spots already, spots have got bigger also.
