So what is a blue gene jack dempsey??

Could be another name for the EBJD?

I once search it up and it said it looks like a regular jack dempsey but maybe it is another name for EBJD. I'm not sure. Anyone know??

you mean a EBJD? if so its a mutation, these fish tend to be fragile and die young, again not all, they also tend to be infertile, with the gene mutations comes other complications.

Noo according to the internet the 3rd jack dempsey is the blue gene one. Maybe it is a EBJD and a JD hybrid that looks like the regular JD.

Blue gene Jack(Jack Dempsey "Heterogeneous Blue") is a JD that carries the "electric blue" gene. Produced from breeding a wild type JD with an electric blue JD(ebjd). A necessary commodity when breeding for ebjd's.

Yup my nearest petsmart actually takes request due to the fish guy there actually knowing what the nitrogen cycle is. Half of the list is my nearest petco the other half is petsmart.

EBJD'S are not a mutation. Research the origin of the electric blue Jack Dempsey.
